Shared Parental Leave: Sample Clause 1

All eligible employees shall be entitled to Shared Parental Leave in accordance with the Child Development Co-Savings Act 2001.

Shared Parental Leave: Sample Clause 2

An eligible employee will be entitled to 6 weeks of Shared Parental Leave (SPL), subject to the conditions of the Child Development Co-Savings Act 2001. This entitlement will increase to 10 weeks of SPL from 1 April 2026 onwards. SPL should be taken in one continuous block within 26 weeks from the child’s date of birth, inclusive of date of birth. Where mutually agreed between the company and the employee, the leave may be taken flexibly within 12 months of the birth of the child.
