Submit Variation Application
Once IAC confirms that the draft application is in order, you may proceed as follows:
CA in force for at least 18 months
- download the approved variation application from the EmPOWER-IAC system
- arrange for the variation application to be signed by representatives of the employer and the union
- lodge the signed application with IAC by hand or post
- wait for IAC to inform that the application has been processed and payment can be made
- pay a filing fee of $20 by following the link in the EmPOWER-IAC system
CA in force for less than 18 months
- arrange for Representatives of the employer and the union to come to IAC on the date scheduled to sign the application and affidavit in the presence of the Registrar or Assistant Registrar.
- download the approved variation application and affidavit from the EmPOWER-IAC system
- bring along 3 sets of the application and the affidavit
- wait for IAC to inform that the application has been processed and payment can be made
- pay a filing fee of $20 by following the link in the EmPOWER-IAC system
Please note that the IAC will only complete processing of the VA after payment has been made.
