Submitting the CA

Before lodging the CA

  • Email a softcopy of the CA to iac_enquiry@iac.gov.sg at least 2 days before lodgement of the printed signed CA. The softcopy should be the amended version of the ASCA where the parties’ current CA is expiring and they have agreed on their next CA. If this is the parties’ first CA, the softcopy should comply with the format requirements and clause numbering convention stated above. The parties are advised to submit the softcopy to IAC for vetting to ensure that the format is in order. The parties will have to amend and re-submit the softcopy and re-print the CA for signing if these requirements are not met.
  •
  • Ensure that the original printed signed CA is based on the email version sent to the IAC. This is because IAC will use the softcopy of the CA, incorporating any amendments where necessary, to publish the CA in the Government Gazette after the CA has been certified.
  •
  • Ensure that each page of the CA is printed single-sided and is numbered.
  •
  • Ensure that the CA is signed on the last page of the body of the CA by the representatives of the employer and the union who should sign against their names and designations, respectively.
